Swastikas were daubed during the night on the offices of Jewish Chronicle, and on the walls of Woburn House, in which are located the offices of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, police reported today.
The Nazi emblem also was painted on the front of Wildenstein’s Art Gallery here, and on the house of the caretaker of the Garnet Hill synagogue in Glasgow. The vandal also painted on the house of the caretaker, a Methodist, “Jews Go Home.”
The facade of the Notting Hill Synagogue, located across the street from the headquarters of the fascist Union Movement headed by Sir Mosley, was similarly desecrated last week. The European headquarters of the World Jewish Congress here, were found painted today with red swastikas.
