Sweden initiated a Holocaust-education project after a recent survey indicated that more than 10 percent of the country’s schoolchildren did not know what the Holocaust was or when it occurred. A meeting planned for Stockholm later this week to discuss strategies for the project is expected to bring members of the Swedish government together with Jewish officials from Europe and the United States.
