The Swedish Government is making arrangements to receive thousands of Jewish refugees from Poland, Premier Albin Hansson hold a delegation of the World Jewish Congress, the Congress announced here today.
The refugees, including many children, will be admitted into the country to recuperate from the ravages of war and pogroms, but will not make Sweden their permanent home. The Premier gave assurance that his Government would continue to aid the Jews, and said that his Government will continue to view the Zionist cause with favor.
