Two Swedish flags were today handed to Dr. Abraham Nissan, Israel Minister to Sweden, by a group of Swedish leaders who for two years have carried on a fundraising campaign among Sweden’s Non-Jews for the construction of a village in Israel. The flags will be sent to Israel to fly over a new immigrant village which is located south of Tel Aviv and which will house 75 refugee families from Eastern Europe.
