Jewish organizations throughout Sweden yesterday joined in the national celebrations of the 70th birthday of King Gustav VI Adolf. During the late war the King and his father were active in rescuing Jews and he demonstrated his feelings by attending a public meeting protesting the Nazi treatment of Danish Jews. He is interested in the Jews of Israel, having visited them in Palestine in 1934.
