Prominent Swedish statesmen, churchmen and members of the Royal Family have issued a joint appeal here for contributions to the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
The appeal asks financial support of “homeless Jewish science,” pointing out that the Hebrew University is able to receive exiled Jewish scientists from countries occupied by the Germans. It is signed by Prince Eugen, King Gustav’s brother; Archbishop Eidem; Prof. Oesten Unden, former foreign minister; and by rectors of all Swedish universities.
