Creation of a works division of the CWA to care for unemployed lawyers will be urged by Municipal Court Justice Nathan Sweedler at a luncheon of the presidents of the Bar Associations in the five New York City counties to be held at the Lawyers’ Club, 115 Broadway, on June 8. Among those who have accepted the invitation to attend the luncheon are:
Herman Bachrach, president of the Brooklyn Bar Association; Meyer Levy, president of the Bronx County Lawyers Association.
Julius F. Newman, president of the Queens County Bar Association, and Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May, president of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities.
