Swiss Government Admits German Refugees

The Swiss Government has ordered the Cantonal Police authorities to grant temporary right of asylum in Switzerland to Jewish refugees from Germany. It adds, however, that in view of the economic situation and the large numbers of foreigners already in the country, the Government cannot grant permits for permanent residence or employment.
