The Havas News Agency reported that two alleged members of the Gestapo (German secret police) were given prison sentences to be followed ultimately by expulsion from the country for plotting to kidnap former German Chancellor Heinrich Bruening, exiled from the Reich as a bitter opponent of the Hitler regime.
