Swiss Jewish leaders met with government officials to discuss a possible anti- Semitic backlash after an international panel of historians releases a report next week on Switzerland’s treatment of Jewish refugees during World War II. The report by the panel, known as the Bergier Commission, is is due to be published Dec. 10 and is expected to contain a stinging rebuke of the nation’s wartime policy toward the refugees.
