Switzerland’s Roman Catholic bishops admitted that the church “failed in its obligations toward the Jewish people” during the Holocaust. “We’re asking for forgiveness, we regret and we confess,” Bishop Kurt Koch, vice president of the Swiss Bishops Conference, said Thursday.
