The Israel-American dialogue held at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot, sponsored by the American Jewish Congress, turned yesterday into a triangle with Russian Jewry as the third dimension. Dr. Benjamin Eliyav said that the dialogue here between American Jews and Israeli Jews has a third partner – the Russian Jews – which he said is just a third centre to Jewish life. The basis for Jewish life is focused on three centres–Israel. American and Russian Jewries. “And when we are speaking about the mutual obligations of American and Israeli Jews we have to remember the third centre out of which the two other centres were formed – the Russian centre.” Dr. Eliyav said.
