A because tablet was dedicated yesterday as a memorial to the late Louis D. Brandeis, associate justice of the United States Supreme court, at the Wall Street Synagogue, 35 Maiden Lane. The inscription on the table is: “Louis D. Brandeis, humanist, philosopher and statesman. Immemorably linked with the remembrance of the Jewish people. 1856-1941.”
