A resolution condemning the incident at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem was adopted at a meeting of the Board of the Federation of Synagogues held here last night. The resolution, which was moved by the President of the Federation, Councillor M. H. Davis, read:
“The Board deeply regrets the desecration and blow at the Jewish faith that occurred at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem on the Day of Atonement and requests His Majestly’s Government to take steps to obviate any recurrence of the incident and that a copy of this resolution be sent to the Prime Minister, the Colonial Secretary. Ramsay MacDonald and Mr. Lloyd George.”
