Several synagogues, Jewish schools and homes near the houses of worship were found today to have been smeared with the Nazi swastika. Complaints were lodged by the congregations and other Jewish organizations with federal and city police authorities, who are attempting to trace the identity of those responsible for the anti-Semitic daubings.
