Rev. Dr. Ray Freeman Jenney, pastor of Park Central Presbyterian Church, has indorsed the stand of the national conference of Jews and Christians against the Hitler atrocities, and issued a statement in which he calls upon public opinion to express itself against intolerance in all forms.
“I consider it my duty not only as a Christian minister, but as one actuated by humanitarian motives, to join with other clergymen throughout the United States against the Nazis persecution,” he declared. “I recognize that Germany is not alone in the persecution of minorities—political, religious and racial. The time has come for public opinion to express itself vigorously against intolerance in all its forms in Germany and elsewhere.”
Dr. Jenney was chairman of the Good Will Seminar for Catholics, Jews and Protestants of Central New York, which recently met here in Syracuse Hotel.
