Although the Syracuse 1934 Welfare Fund Campaign for relief of stricken Jews, was not officially launched until last night at the Temple Society of Concord, over $9,000 already has been collected by the thirty-two teams, which began canvassing five days prior to the opening of the drive.
No definite quota has been set. The amount received so far represents a substantial increase over last year.
