Syria is preparing for war with Israel, Israeli military intelligence’s chief analyst said. Brig. Gen. Yossi Baidaz was quoted as telling Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his Cabinet in a briefing Sunday that Syria has stepped up production of long-range missiles and moved anti-aircraft batteries closer to the border with Israel.
