The windows of the Syrian Arab Airlines office were smashed last night and leaflets signed “The Fighting Jewish Youth,” were strewn over the office floor and on the sidewalk outside. Police are investigating the incident which the airline reported only today. Apparently no one noticed the vandalism which is believed to have occurred late last night. The airline office is located next to the American Express office on the Place de la Opera, normally one of the busiest intersections of Parts. The leaflets called for the Liberation of Syria’s Jews,” and demanded that Damascus authorities end the hardships imposed on Syrian Jews and allow all who wish to leave the country to do so.
