The Syrian troops invaded Israel territory in the demilitarized zone near Dan and began digging in. Israel defense forces attacked and drove out the intruders, reportedly killing one.
Egyptian troops crossed into Israel territory in the demilitarized Nitzana zone, not from Beerotayim which they attacked earlier this week, and entrenched themselves 200 yards inside the boundary. An Israel plane patrolling the border zone was fired on from the Egyptian positions but escaped unhit.
