Syrian gun positions concentrated heavy fire today on the Israeli settlement of Tel Katzir, southeast of Lake Tiberias, setting fire to one building in the settlement and damaging another.
No Israeli casualties were reported in today’s Syrian attack, the latest in a series of incidents carried out by Syrian forces during the past few days. Israeli border units were forced to direct heavy counter-fire on the Syrian positions to halt the attack.
