The Arab infiltrators who ambushed a passenger bus in Upper Galilee, near the Lebanese border, last Wednesday night, had crossed Lebanese territory from Syria, it was established here today by a United Nations Mixed Armistice Commission.
The fact that the infiltrators had come from Syria was established through an investigation conducted jointly by Israeli and Lebanese representatives on the Israel-Lebanon MAC. Tracks showed that tie infiltrators crossed from Syria into Lebanon, then entered Israel, and returned to Syria again via Lebanon.
