Negotiations on a loan from the World Bank for development of Israeli ports started here yesterday. While no figure has been formally revealed in connection with the loan talks, it was reliably believed that the sum under consideration is around $30, 000, 000.
The Israeli negotiating team is headed by David Horowitz, the Governor of the Bank of Israel. The director general of the Israel Ministry of Finance, Yaacov Arnon, is expected to join the team this week.
