A tractor working on the Golan Heights damaged yesterday the American Tapline Oil Pipe Line which crosses the Golan Heights on its way to the Lebanese terminal. The oil burst out and spread on the surrounding pasture area until Tapline’s special emergency squad repaired the damage. All oil flow was stopped for several hours to enable the repair to be completed. Damage done to the pasture land will be paid for by the Tapline company in accord with an existing agreement.
