Te new nationality law, which is now being introduced in Roumania is believed to contain a clause which violates the provisions of the international treaty guaranteeing the rights of the national minorities, according to a report of the Joint Foreign Committee submitted to the monthly meeting of the Board of Jewish Deputies of England.
The report also states that the attitude of the Roumanian Government towards the civil rights of the Jewish population in Roumania and the non-satisfaction of the Jewish needs with regard to schools are at variance with the provisions of the treaty.
