Registration for the second Teachers’ Summer Institute, sponsored here by the Jewish Communal Center and other organized chapters in the city in co-operation with the North East Religious Union of American Hebrew Congregations of New York City, officially opened this week with its headquarters at the Center.
The faculty will include Rabbi Jacob B. Pollak of New York, principal; Prof. Oscar Janowsky, of the College of the City of New York; Dr. Emanuel Gamoran, educational director of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations of Cincinnati; Ben M. Edidin, director of the Bureau of Jewish Education in Buffalo; Mrs. Louis Bragman, principal of the Temple Society of Concord Sunday Religious School, and George M. Hyman, director of the local Center.
Classes will begin on July 9 and will continue through the month.
