tains extension courses for adults who are anxious to gain a Jewish and general education, and a constructive knowledge of Jewish history, literature, religion, ethics and of the spiritual and cultural ideals of the Jewish people.

Credit for work successfully completed in the Jewish Teachers Seminary has been recognized towards Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees by Teachers College of Columbia University, by the School of Education of New York University and by a number of other colleges and universities in the United States. The bill will now make such credit acceptable practically by all colleges and universities in America.
