Teen-agers who attend religious services are less likely to use drugs, according to a recent study. Only 8 percent of the 1,000 teens in the Columbia University survey who attend services at least four times a month smoked cigarettes, as opposed to 22 percent of those who attend once a month or less. Some 13 percent who attend services weekly have smoked marijuana, compared to 30 percent of those who go less than once a month.
