Israel lodged a complaint today with the Security Council and Secretary General Kurt Waldheim on the cold-blooded murder of 18 people in Kiryat Shemona. Israeli Ambassador Yosef Tekoah drew the attention of Waldheim and the Council to the ghastly crime but did not call for Security Council action. Tekoah pointed out that the Arab governments harbor and finance these murderers and expressed indignation that the world has shown leniency towards the Arab terrorists.
