The Palestine government today approved a loan of $1,300,000 for the City of Tel Aviv in 1935. Items in the loan which were approved are the expenditure of $95,000 for drainage and $125,000 for a new city hall. The government vetoed expenditure of $200,000 for a new hospital and $150,000 for a municipal housing scheme.
A loan of $250,000 for the development of Petach Tikvah, one of the earliest colonies was also approved by the government.
