The first prize for maintaining order and discipline during the two-day Purim carnival in this city, in which a quarter of a million people participated, was awarded today by the municipality to the Betar, Revisionist youth organization.
Not a single untoward incident took place during the carnival due to the efficiency displayed by the Jewish youth organizations which volunteered to maintain order in the city during the street parades.
