Tel Aviv Judge is Acquitted on Bribery Charges After 18-month Trial

A three-man panel of the Jerusalem District Court today acquitted. a fellow Judge, Eliezer Malchi, of charges that he had taken a bribe. The charges were brought against Judge Malchi of the Tel Aviv District Court by the State Prosecutor. His trial had lasted 18 months, the longest criminal trial in Israel’s history.
