A shipment of 300 CARE food packages, donated by Americans for Israel families in need of aid, has been received with “grateful thanks” by Israel Rokach, Mayor of Tel Aviv.
Although CARE has already delivered over 4,000 parcels sent by Americans to friends and relatives in Israel, this was the first distribution of “undesignated” packages. They were presented to Mayor Rokach, in a ceremony at his office, by Emanuel Borenstein, CARE mission chief in Tel Aviv.
