The streets of the all-Jewish town of Tel Aviv were specially illuminated last night in celebration of the 70th. birthday of the Mayor, Mr. Mayer Dizengoff, who was one of its founders.
The “Doar Mayom” publishes a 20 page issue to-day full of tributes to Mr. Dizengoff.
A ten acre garden is being planted in Tel Aviv this week in honour of Mr. Dizengoff.
