A spokesman of the Jewish Agency declared today that the Agency’s Committee on Control and Authorization of Campaigns has not authorized the Tel Aviv University to engage in any fund-raising activities in the United States.
The Committee, consisting of representatives of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds, the United Jewish Appeal as well as the Jewish Agency, each year releases a list of authorized public fund-raising campaigns for Israel.
