The Poale Zion has published a leaflet in which serious charges are brought against the members of the Jaffa-Tel Aviv Workers Council Secretariat. They assert that the Secretariat. They assert that the Secretariat did not prevent acts of embezzlement of certain sums given to the Council for the purpose of distribution of relief doles to the unemployed during 1926 and 1927.
In connection with this charge the Poale Zion presented a resolution at the recent sitting of the Council that the Secretariat should be dismissed but the resolution was rejected by a majority.
