Tel Aviv’s third fashion show opened here today before commercial representatives from most of the neighboring Near Eastern countries. Large orders were placed by buyers from firms in Egypt, Syria and Iran. Curtailment of imports from Europe to the Near East as a result of the war has greatly increased the importance of Palestine as a fashion center.
