Jews of the United States of all denominations will be asked to pray for peace during the Passover holidays in an appeal by the United Synagogue of America, it was announced Friday.
A similar call has been issued by the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations of America. It was announced by William Weiss, president of the Union that a special prayer for peace will be suggested to rabbis of all orthodox congregations affiliated with the Union.
