The National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods, which is meeting here conourrently with the U.A.H.C. assembly, today heard a report by Jane Evans, executive director of the organization, on a loan fund set up this year by the group to help new congregations become established.
She reported to the 700 delegates attending the conference that during the past fiscal year, three congregations were awarded loans from the Federation fund. Mrs, Lonis A. Rosett, of New Rochelle, N.Y., Federation president, urged the sisterhoods to consider selection of representatives to the seventh international biennial conference of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, which will be held in London in July, 1951.
