The first annual dinner of the Brooklyn Council of the United Synagogue of America will be held November 25, it was announced yesterday by Samuel Rothstein, counsel for the East Midwood Jewish Center, who is chairman of the dinner committee. The event will be held at the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern parkway.
The majority of conservative synagogues in Brooklyn, Rothstein said, have pledged themselves to send large delegations to the dinner which will mark two years of activity of the Brooklyn council on behalf of traditional Judaism in the Borough.
Mr. Rothstein declared that the dinner will become an annual event in Brooklyn and will serve each year as a meeting of religious and lay leaders throughout Brooklyn.
