Ten congregational rabbis from throughout the United States completed what is believed to be the first national course for rabbis on “spiritual diagnosis and healing.” The two-week session in New York, sponsored by the North American Board of Rabbis and the Jewish Institute for Pastoral Care, comes amid increased interest in supplementing medical care with spiritual counseling.
