Ten more Jewish professors were dismissed today from the institutions of higher learning here. Among them was Dr. Arthur Korn, internationallly famous physicist, who has taught at many German universities, most recently at the Berlin Polytechnik Institute. He is the inventor of practical photo-telegraphy, as well as the author of scientific studies on gravitation, electro-magnetism, the constitution of the atom, and hydrodynamics.
Prof. Hermann Levy, authority on national economics, among whose works are “Economic Liberalism” and “Large and Small Holdings,” has also been discharged from the university. Dr. Isidore Traube, colloidal chemist, and seven other professors, were requested to resign from their university connections.
