Ten Palestine Arab terrorists were killed in an engagement in the Transjordan yesterday between a band of 150 and Transjordan military forces, it was announced officially today by the Amman Government. A soldier was slightly wounded in the clash. The communique voiced regret at the loss of lives and deplored the attacks against a country “whose inhabitants had not failed in their duty to the Arabs.” It appealed to the conscience of “trouble-makers” not to send people to their death.
