Ten women members of the Halt the Sinoi Withdrawal movement, together with four young children including a nine-month-old baby, barricaded themselves on the roof of a house in the Yamit area Talmel Yosef Village Wednesday, to prevent Jewish Agency workmen from dismantling it. The women told army officers they would offer passive resistance to any attempt to remove them. But the soldiers stood by without any move against the women, while the workmen continued their dismantling of other farm equipment, giving the occupied house a wide berth.
