An exhibition of Judaica, marking the American Jewish Tercentenary, opened here in the main library at the Civic Center. The exhibition occupies three rooms. The displays comprise rare historical manuscripts, letters, photographs and the like, all reflecting the part played by American Jews, working side by side with their fellow-citizens of other creeds in the development of America.
Much of the exhibition pertains to the participation of San Francisco Jews in the building of their city and state. Hundreds of other items are on loan from Los Angeles where they attracted a city-wide attention during a two-months long exhibition there.
