Security sources said today that the arrest several days ago of seven members of an El Fatah terrorist call has resulted in identifying the terrorists responsible for a long series of sabotage and terrorist acts in Jerusalem, Ramallah and Rehovot during the past six months. The arrested man were aged between 19-28. As a result of their arrests, all but a few cases of sabotage have been solved, the sources said.
The gang is believed responsible for the following incidents laying explosives near the Bank Leumi offices in Ramallah on November 10, 1974 and throwing a Molotov cocktail at the bank a week later laying explosives on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv railroad line December 14, 1974, laying explosives in the Ramallah town square December 19, laying explosives at the main bus terminal in Jerusalem February 21, 1976; and in a residential area of Rehovot on February 16th; and planting explosives near a shop in Ramallah on March 21.
