The East Side will conclude its drive for the United Palestine Appeal with a Testimonial Dinner to Joseph Barondess on the occasion of his 40 years of Jewish communal work.
The dinner will be given tonight at Beethoven Hall, New York. The speakers include Judge Max Levine, Rev. Zvi Hirsh Masliansky, Morris A. Zeldin and Philip Luria. Morris Sendar will be toastmaster. Samuel Goldstein, Director of the East Side United Palestine Appeal, will give a detailed report of the campaign. William Lowenstein will present Mr. Barondess with a bust by the Jewish sculptor.
