I. Teumin, formerly a leading member of the presidium of the Comzet, Government commission for Jewish land settlement, died today in the Kremlin Hospital here after a long illness. He was about 60 years old.
Mr. Teumin was at one time Commissar of Foreign Trade in White Russia. Later he became president of the Moscow Czet, Jewish organization for colonization. As an executive of the Comzet he cooperated with the Agro-Joint (the American Jewish Joint Agricultural Corporation.)
