A twenty-five thousand dollar quota for the American Palestine Campaign for the settlement of German Jews in Palestine, and two thousand new members for the Zionist Organization, was pledged by the Texas-Louisiana Zionist Federation in a two-day convention at the Hotel Edsona here.

The pledge of the Southern Zionists was given after an address by Mendel N. Fisher of St. Louis, Mo., who represented the Zionist Organization and the American Palestine Campaign. He also addressed the joint session of the Junior Hadassah and the Zionists.

Mrs. Robert Szold, vice-president of Hadassah; Rabbi Mendel Silber of New Orleans, Rabbi Philip Graubart of Fort Worth, Mrs. L. B. Sachs of Dallas, president of the Texas Hadassah; Rabbi Samuel Rosinger, and Mr. Fisher addressed a large mass meeting at the close of the convention.

The convention went on record as favoring the boycott of German goods. They expressed their faith in the new Zionist Executive and pledged support.
