Governor Landon in a telegram to Felix M. Warburg, who last week announced his support of the Republican candidate, has expressed appreciation to the Jewish leader and philanthropist, it was announced by Republican headquarters here today.
“Your fine statement expressing your confidence in my stand for the opportunity for the individual, academic freedom and religious liberty coming from a man of your distinction will give emphasis to these expressions of mine,” the telegram said.
